A series of patterns created to enhance the empty states on the cards & menu page hero's, for Grubhub, and Seamless.

Many restaurants who worked with Grubhub didn’t provide an image for their hero on the menu page. This would also impact the card design on the search results, leaving the space blank. Since we didn’t have a proper empty state system I created a few playful, and simple patterns using our library of illustrations for each brand.
